150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marconi
From 2nd to 14th April 2024 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marconi, the special "Marconian" station IY1EY will be active in SSB, CW and digital modes (FT8, FT4, RTTY) on all HF bands: 80m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m and 10m. To obtain the IY1EY 2024 AWARD a minimum of 20 points is required, calculated as the total of the points scored by working IY1EY as follows:
• Qso CW : 3 points on each band
• Qso SSB : 2 points on each band
• Qso DIGI : 1 point on each band
The Marconian special prefix will be active simultaneously on multiple bands and modes. Contacts on the same day are valid provided there is a change of mode or band.
On the HRDLOG.net platform you will see the online log and the score in real time.
At the end of the event the IY1EY 2024 award is issued online on HRDLOG, without registration, as a high-resolution A4 color certificate. No log or paper QSL confirmation is required. Contacts will be uploaded to LoTW and will be available as eQSLs on the HRDLOG.net platform.
Paper QSLs only direct via Club Log OQRS, because the ARI bureau does not handle this call sign.
NO qsl via Bureau.
