The Marconi Club is pleased to announce the 9th edition of the QSO Party Day, organized under the traditional "short contest" format. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2027. The primary objective of the event is to introduce our club to younger generations and bring together all operators who truly love and believe in Morse code, promoting the MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. Loano -founded on May 8, 1988, by the late Libero Meriggi (I1YXN) and the renowned DXpeditioner Baldur Drobnica (DJ6SI).
The event will involve all members of this historic club, which boasts 1,030 members worldwide, along with all enthusiasts of this wonderful and magnificent art of CW.
For this edition as well, BEGALI, an undisputed world leader in high-quality Morse code key manufacturing, has agreed to support our Contest by donating one of their keys. This special prize will be awarded via a raffle drawn among the top five stations in the Marconi Club Member category. To provide greater incentive to participants, this special prize cannot be awarded to anyone who has already received it in a previous edition.
The awards ceremony and the special prize drawing will take place at the Marconi Club booth during the Ham-Radio Exhibition in Montichiari (BS) on Saturday, March 13, 2027.
As in previous editions, logs must be uploaded online exclusively in Cabrillo format via the official Marconi Club A.R.I. Loano portal at www.marconiclub.it.
