Giunge alla 8° Edizione il Qso Party Day organizzato dal Marconi Club sempre con la formula “short contest”.Quest’anno la data dell’evento è fissata per Sabato 3 Gennaio 2026; la finalità dell’evento è di far conoscere alle nuove generazioni il nostro club e riunire tutti coloro che veramente amano e credono nella telegrafia, promuovendo il MARCONI CLUB A.R.I. Organized by Marconi Club it’s as always with the "short contest" format, is now in its 8th edition. This year, the event is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026. The purpose of the event is to introduce our club to the younger generations and bring together all those who truly love and believe in telegraphy, promoting the MARCONI CLUB ARI LOANO, founded on May 8, 1988, by the late Libero Meriggi I1YXN and the renowned DX-peditioner Baldur Drobnica DJ6SI. The event will involve all members of the historic club, which has nearly 1000 members from all over the world, and all enthusiasts of this wonderful and magnificent art of CW. For this edition too, the BEGALI company, an undisputed world leader in the production of high-quality telegraph keys, has agreed to support our Contest by donating one of their own keys, which will be raffled off among the top five finishers in the Marconi Operators category. Now in its seventh year, the Marconi Club QSO Party in early January continues to attract numerous CW operators, both registered members and independent telegraphy enthusiasts. The event offers telegraphers from all over the world the opportunity to meet and "shake hands" on the 20, 40 and 80 mt bands. Despite the turbulent solar activity, with a "flare" in the middle of the competition, the many active stations guaranteed moments of pure fun for all participants, even those who had little time. This year 228 logs were sent via the new HRDLOG platform by Claudio IW1QLH, to whom we extend our sincere thanks for his availability and expertise. Of these, 111 come from members of the Marconi Club, while 117 from independent operators, demonstrating the growing interest in the QSO Party. The logs record a total of 19,808 QSOs, distributed among 29 DXCC countries.
