Loano Elettra Memorial Trophy 10 Maggio 1987
Nel 1987 mentre terminavano i festeggiamenti ai vincitori della competizione internazionale "Loano Elettra", alcuni tra i maggiori estimatori del CW presenti alla manifestazione, proposero la creazione di un Club teso ad accogliere tutti coloro che veramente amano e credono nella stupenda arte della telegrafia. Fu così che l'allora presidente della sezione ARI di Loano, il compianto Libero Meriggi I1YXN, spinto in particolar modo dal noto spedizioniere Baldur DJ6SI, pose le basi del nostro Club. L'idea, accompagnata dall' offerta della Presidenza del neonato Club,venne presentata alla Marchesa Maria Cristina Marconi, allora madrina della premiazione del Loano Elettra, che accolse entusiasticamente l'iniziativa accettando l'incarico.
In 1987 while the festivity for the winners of the international competition of "LOANO ELETTRA" were terminated, some of the major estimator of CW present at the manifestation proposed the creation of a club for all of the people who loves and believes in the beauty of telegraphic art. This was how our deceased Libero Meriggi I1YXN,the president of the A.R.I. of Loano, with the push of ours know shipping agent Baldur DJ6SI, started the club. This idea was presented to the Marquise MARIA CRISTINA MARCONI, who was the godmother of the Loano Elettra premiation, and took with very enthusiasm the initiative taking on the task.
